The Little River Cloggers of Durham, North Carolina formed in 1995. The group specializes in the traditionaldance forms of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, as well as exploring more contemporary trends in clog dancing. The group performs at a wide and varied number of events all through the year from the Folk Festival at the NC State Fair, and Heritage Day at Jordan Lake, Shindig on the Green, to dancing for the elderly at area nursing homes, as well as participating in fundraising events such as The Great Human Race to benefit hundreds of non-profit orginizations.

The team has been awarded with the Ruth Jewell Trophy at the North Carolina State Fair Folk Festival for the team that best exemplified the historical and entertainment purposes of the Festival. In addition, the group has competed in the American Clogging Hall of Fame World Championships.
